Yew Wah Somerset Cultural Centre offers a unique English and life education program for Yew Wah primary and secondary students. It provides cross-cultural experiences and an immersive environment for learning English and British culture. The program aims to boost students' confidence, independence, teamwork, and leadership skills, which they continue to develop upon returning home.

In early December, students from YWIES Tongxiang went on a three-week study tour to Knowle Hall, the cultural center of Yew Wah in Somerset, UK.

During study tour, students engaged in a variety of academic courses and activities. Let's explore their exciting experiences in the UK!

1. Interacted closely with students from Haygrove School, fostering mutual understanding and friendships.

2. Conducted scientific experiments and hands-on activities, developing scientific thinking and skills.

3. Participated in engaging art and drama classes, enhancing creativity and expressiveness.

4. Explored canyons to study geology, experiencing the grandeur and mystery of nature.
